Sixth grade is an exciting transition year at St. Paul Parish School. Students no longer spend the day in a self-contained classroom. Now they learn to adjust to receiving core academic instruction from different teachers in different classrooms. The middle school teachers’ work as a team to assure the continuity of curriculum and expectations as all sixth grade students adjust to the new expectations in the middle school learning environment. Teachers help students grow academically, and personally, in their preparation for high school. Students learn to use a planner for both short and long-term assignments.
The sixth graders and available parents have a unique opportunity for growth and learning at our Outdoor School week. They will have the experience of a lifetime in a fun, faith-filled atmosphere at Grove Christian Service Camp.
