Welcome to St. Paul Parish Pre-Kindergarten! Children are given opportunities to explore and express themselves in a positive engaging environment where they can feel successful. I use a multi-sensory approach where children are actively engaged in the learning process.
Children are encouraged to use the gifts God has given them to develop self-confidence and a love of school. The classroom setting is part of the curriculum and I work hard to change and update centers during the year. It is a privilege to be an extension of the family by setting the foundation for Catholic learning with a curriculum that is centered on Catholic values and providing an atmosphere of what is sacred.
Religion: God made me - I am wonderfully made - Psalm
God’s most important rule is to love one another
Language Arts: Begin to listen to, share and respond to a variety of texts
Math: Develop understanding of numbers and mathematical concepts
Science: Understanding God’s world and how it works
Health: Early childhood is an ideal time to familiarize children with responsible health habits that will safeguard their future health
Social Studies: Connection of “me”, family, community, and global relationships
Art and Music: Curriculum includes activities that will help children develop their cognitive, social, and motor abilities. In the music program, we are learning the fundamentals of music through singing, moving, and playing together.
